Awarded the State Prize and one of the 15 most beautiful books in Austria 2020.

Lina, die Entdeckerin tells the research journey of curious Lina. The picture book puts the VULVA in the spotlight and is the counterpart to Bruno will hoch hinaus.

It's about discovering your own body, away from insecurities, taboos and shame and also naming this great organ correctly: as the vulva and not "down there" or "between the legs".

The great pictures and Lina's journey are complemented by informative knowledge about body hair but also personal hygiene, growing up and nudity.

The author's aim with this book is to promote a natural approach to the sexual organs and to convey a positive body feeling. There should be no judgment when naming body parts and should contribute to the children's self-determination and self-perception.
